Among Friends: Concert for a Winter Evening (Sold Out)

Tuesday 10th December
8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

An enchanting evening of music, featuring a line-up of performances from Women of Note, Nota Bene and Eclipse, plus instrumentalists Tom Ling and Jon Betmead.

As cold settles outside, enjoy an evening of melody among friends, celebrating the power of shared music.

Women of Note is an established a capella group, led by Chloë Allison. Rooted in the natural voice approach, this friendly women’s group celebrates shared song through a range of unaccompanied music.

Eclipse is a small vocal group with a passion for beautiful songs along with the joy of singing together. The group is led by musical director, Milly Bristow-Bell, and artistic director, Julie Bristow.

Nota Bene is a group of friends who share a love of singing. The twelve members sing a capella with a repertoire ranging from Byrd to Bowie; and quite a lot of Sondheim in between.

Tom Ling and Jon Betmead – instrumentalists – bring a folk flavour to the evening. Jon was a prominent figure on the Folk Music circuit and Tom is a performer and composer.  They promise an intimate interval performance.
