Five Notes of the Raga is a book by Dr. Bhaskar Dasgupta. Dr. Dasgupta details his obsession with music and Indian classical cultural heritage and will be reading passages from the book.

Deepa Hattangady Karnad is a rising star on the modern Indian classical scene, having spent nearly two decades pursuing Hindustani Khyal under the tutelage of esteemed gurus such as Lalit Rao.

Kaleem Sheikh is a London-based singer and musician, musicologist, and expert in the realms of Indian film and poetry. He was trained in Indian classical by sarangi player and vocalist Ustād Sultan Khan. Alongside guests he will be providing a history of ghazal – a form of amatory poem or ode – as well as performing.
