Cambridge Beekeepers Association bring their annual seminar to Storey’s Field Centre for the first time. 2019’s event focuses on Beekeeping in the 21st Century with the following programme:
9.15 am – Registration and coffee; trade stands open
10.00 am – Meeting begins; welcome and introduction from CBKA Chairman
10.05 am – Professor David Evans: “Timing is everything: DWV and rational Varroa control”
10.55 am – Professor Giles Budge: “Chronic Bee Paralysis: An Emerging Issue for Honey Bee Health in the 21st Century”
11.45 am – Lunch; trade stands open
1.30 pm – Wally Shaw: “Self-sufficiency and Apicentric Beekeeping”
2.20 pm – George Clouston: “Hive Monitoring”
3.10 pm – Discussion and questions
4.00 pm – Vote of thanks and end of meeting
