CENTRE SUPERVISOR

Hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2024
Salary: £23,484 – £25,927 pro rata per annum
Location: Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington Avenue, Cambridge

This is a great opportunity for a new Centre Supervisor to join the team at Storey’s Field Centre in Eddington. The Centre Supervisor assists the Centre Manager with the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the centre.

The main elements of the role include setting up for events, workshops and activities. You will also manage events, liaising with hirers and promoters to deliver great nights out. The job includes bar work, building security, caretaking and cleaning duties. You should be well organised and have a friendly customer focused approach. We would expect you to have previous experience of working in a community facility, arts venue, pub or similar environment, with experience of the set-up, delivery and clearing up of events.

You will play an active role in building management, be safety conscious, have a working knowledge of arts, social and corporate events and be able to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends. The hours are variable from week-to-week; therefore, the ideal applicant will be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2024. We would consider a job share for this position for the right candidates.

The centre is overseen by the Storey’s Field Trust and is managed on behalf of the Trust by Cambridge City Council.
