Storey’s Field Centre has attracted a great deal of interest from the architectural world for its beautiful and practical design. The Centre was designed by architects MUMA and built by Farrans to the very highest standards delivering a new kind of community centre for this young community. We are naturally really proud that Centre has been shortlisted for the Royal Institute of British Architects’ Stirling Prize, one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for architecture.
Whilst the Stirling Prize judges deliberate their decision, which will be announced next Wednesday evening in London, there is an opportunity for everyone to have their say on the Stirling Prize People’s Award which is voted for by members of the public.
The link below will take you to the Eddington-Cambridge website where there are videos introducing the buildings on the shortlist and a further link which takes you to the voting page.
Please help us to win the people’s vote by taking a few seconds to visit the RIBA website and vote for your community centre. The winner of this prize is announced on Tuesday 9th October.
